I'm the founder of Transparentrees, a platform for business professionals in the marketing and advertising industry: vendor-side, agency-side, client-side. People share anonymously (or not anonymously) about companies and other business professionals. It's an objective, facts-only place about companies and their employees' specific roles, and how their reporting structure looks. We made it to the final round of Techstars-Chicago (Summer, 2014); that means the top 25 out of 1,000+ applicants. I've led ideation, product, user-experience, marketing, public relations, legal, and capital raising. The web application is built on Rails, Backbone.js, and a variety of other technologies.
I was a digital strategy manager for Rise Interactive, a digital agency in Chicago from 2011 to 2013. I owned the full sales to on-boarding process for many of the inbound leads/inquiries/RFPs. I evaluated and defined client goals, performed market and client analysis, audits, ROI modeling, and developed strategy and pitched strategy. I co-managed two digital analysts and three business developers.
Pircher, Nichols & Meeks
I practiced contract law with respect to commercial real estate at Pircher, Nichols & Meeks from January of 2010 to November of 2011. I drafted complex documents most people don’t care about, managed complex deals, and billed in six minute increments at $320/hour. A typical acquisition, sale or financing was within $50 to $150 million. I was offered and accepted a position a full two years before my graduation.
